When gift shopping I always try to think of a gift that will not only bring a smile to someone's face but make their gift useful. You may not think it, but Zero Waste has many great gift options that are affordable and safe for our planet.
For instance; you can give metal straws, bamboo utensils, plants, package-free soap or bath bombs, cloth napkins, handkerchiefs or even wooden home decor.
All of these items may be simple but they are effective. Giving a metal straw might not seem like much but one metal straw will subtract from the other estimated 8.3 billion straws washed up on beaches each day. As simple as this gift might be you can still make it unique by adding a pop of color or cool design.
