Zero Waste Halloween

Halloween is coming up, when I think of Halloween I imagine trick or treating, candy, and scary costumes. However, is it possible to have a Zero Waste Halloween? Well, there are many ways you can make your Halloween a little more Zero Waste and still keep your scary vibe. For instance, instead of buying your usual Halloween treats you can make them at home. You can make different treats like cupcakes, cake pops, and donuts without having to throw away anything.  Additionally, you can create your own Halloween decorations like ceramic pumpkins, bamboo spiders or cloth ghosts. By creating your own Halloween decorations you can keep them for many years to come. Lastly, my favorite Halloween tip is creative you can create your own Halloween costume. Most of the time Halloween masks or accessories are made out of plastic you can make your own accessories by using materials such as bamboo or cloth.
