Living A School Zero Waste Lifstyle!

ZeroWaste Living is not an easy task especially if you are a student. In this post, I will share 3 easy tips and tricks to make your life a little bit more Zero Waste. After all, children should have the right to an Education so let's make this education a bit more Zero Waste!

1) Have a Zero Waste Lunch Kit:

At school, there is the option of having lunch in the cafeteria, however, some students may prefer to carry their own lunch. If you are one of these people then a great solution for you would be to use a recyclable lunch box whether it is made out of cloth or metal. This is a great solution! Not only can you reuse this lunch box every day your food will also stay cooler and fresher in a metal or cloth kit rather than a plastic container.

In your lunch kit, you can make it even more sustainable by using;

  • Bamboo or Metal Cutlery
  • Bamboo, Metal, Glass or Cloth food containers
  • Glass or Metal water bottle
