Back To School Zero Waste!

School is coming soon and this school year I want you to make your Zero Waste school goal. Today I am going to share with you two simple Zero Waste ideas that make your school year easier and your enviroment trash free.

1. Pack a Zero Waste Lunch-

When it comes to lunch, we can introduce easy steps to make it Zero Waste. First you can purchase a lunchbox, utensils, water bottle and napkins for an affordable price. Not only does purchasing these items impact the enviroment these items allow you to wash and reuse everyday without the hassle of going to the store and having to purchase ziploc bags, cling wrap or foil.

You can also purchase organic fruits and vegetables from local grocers, this way there will be no trace of waste in your lunch. Additionally, your purchase will have a positive impact on local buissnesses.

If you are anything like me you strive to have a bit of organization in your life. You can purchase 100% biodegradable notebooks and folders to organize every assignment and project in your life. Additionally, you can use wooden or bamboo pencils and colored pencils instead of plastic mechanical pencils.
