2019 Zero Waste Christmas!

Christmas is around the corner, the joy of gifts and presents is coming down the chimney... wait is there a way to make your Christmas Zero Waste?

Here are Three Simple Things That you can do to make your Zero Waste Christmas experience much more memorable:

Purchase gifts made from organic and biodegradable materials for your family member or friend from your local vendor or farmers' market. In addition to purchasing a Zero Waste gift, you can be a gift that will contribute to giving this person their start to a Zero Waste lifestyle. For instance bamboo/metal straws, cloth bags or even beauty or skincare kits.
Instead of using the general store-bought gift wrapping paper, you can use cloth or decorative paper bags to gift these items. Not only will changing this have a huge impact on the amount of waste that is produced, but there will also be thought put into this. The cloth and bags can be reused and shared not only for Christmas but throughout the year.
As much as we all love the delicious treats and goodies that are prepared during Christmas time, it is important to look at the amount of trash that you produce while baking.
