Tip 3
During the initial lockdown when we were at home and when many people were adjusting to new routines and limited supplies in the supermarkets, I started an organic garden at home.
I encouraged my family and friends as this is not only a supply of fresh vegetables and fruits, it's grown organically in my back yard. I don’t have to travel in a car to buy it, it’s not wrapped in plastic and it’s grown without chemicals. I have successfully managed to discover a way to reduce my carbon footprint by making different food choices.
Please consider starting a garden in your home or with the other members of your community. You’d grow what you enjoy eating and you’d build community spirit by working with your neighbours.
